Mbodi (pronounced em-bod-ee) was born from a personal ritual, one that turned pain into presence, and scent into a way of processing. Each candle is designed not just to smell good, but to mean something. To hold space for whatever you’re feeling.
Founded by Carl Manners in Austin, Texas, Mbodi is a candle brand built on emotional honesty. Inspired by the journey of a loved one working through anger and healing, Carl created candles as tools for reflection, paired with curated playlists to guide the vibe.

Some oils are also flammable and can change chemically when heated. So no, they’re not always safe. We use high quality fragrance oils that are made for candles, and high temperatures.
